The Lower Deck has been available as a holiday rental since 2009 and we were proud to receive 5 star ratings on both AirBnb  and Trip Advisor who also awarded us their certificate of excellence. Our new listings which are managed by Zoe from Rowes Retreats are also beginning to gain new positive reviews. You can also find us on VRBO and Booking.com now.

Five minutes walk one way to Discovery Quay & the town and five minutes walk the other way to the beach. Nigel & Lynne kept in touch through the whole booking. They are in hand if anything is needed & are helpful without being intrusive. Would highly recommend.”

“The Lower Deck is perfectly situated for access to both the town and Gyllyngvase beach ( a few minutes walk each way. The place itself was spotlessly clean and tastefully appointed with everything we needed for a lovely week’s stay. The challenges provided by the current special circumstances (Covid19) were excellently addressed and the attention to detail admirable. We enjoyed the complimentary cream tea provided by our hosts who were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. We hope to return before too long.”

“Considering cost, comfort and convenience, the Lower Deck could not be bettered. This was our second visit to the property, chosen on the basis that our visit two years previously (and reviewed on TripAdvisor) had been perfect in every respect. The property itself feels very much like a home in terms of comfort, decor and amenities and, since the weather on this occasion forced us to spend much of the time indoors, this homeliness was particularly appreciated. Falmouth and its shops, beaches and estuary life are only minutes away and much of west Cornwall is an easy drive away. Our hosts were very welcoming (cream tea on arrival) and, while leaving us to our own devices, it was good to know they were on hand (upstairs) to deal with any issues.”
