Welcome to the Lower Deck….
The Lower Deck
The Lower Deck is a one bed apartment perfect for people who want beaches and amenities within a few minutes walking distance. Castle beach and the seafront are just five minutes walk away, a few minutes further takes you to the popular Gyllyngvase beach with its renowned cafe/restaurant. Alternatively, 5 minutes walk in the opposite direction takes you to the harbour with it’s pretty yachts and the famous Maritime Museum, as well as the shops, restaurants, cafes and summer attractions of Events Square. Also ideal for parents who are visiting students at Falmouth University.
The apartment was updated in 2017 with a newly tiled shower room and kitchen. Although compact, the kitchen is well equipped with an integrated electric cooker, a microwave and a fridge with a small freezer compartment. The comfortable living/ dining room has a cream Laura Ashley suite, fast Wi-fi, a smart TV and DVD player. There is a spacious double bedroom, with fitted wardrobe. Although it forms the lower ground floor of the main house, The Lower Deck has the large windows that you would expect from a Victorian building and consequently feels light and airy inside, with lovely views of its own separate garden. It is approached through its own gate down a set of wide stone steps, with flowerbeds, lawn and a seating area.

Interaction with guests
We are Lynne & Nigel, a retired couple who love walking the coast paths of Cornwall and appreciating the amazing scenery in the area. We enjoy meeting our visitors and sharing our love of the local area. We are usually around to meet you on arrival and always willing to offer advice about places to visit or information about local ferries and amenities in the area. We can also provide a comprehensive folder of suggestions and information for your use.
We really love living in Falmouth and are very happy to share some of our ‘locals’ tips or to help with any queries you may have but we also respect your privacy and understand that some guests may prefer to discover the delights of Falmouth themselves.
